Content: Evaluation setup (criteria), our profile and application parts.

Evaluation

Get acquainted with the criteria - both minimum and profile. Keep them close for reference. Go through application - does the applicant meet the minimum criteria? Yes/no Each application should be seen by at least two people - so it’s possible to check for each other’s biases and blind spots. If there is anyone you know personally among the applicants, you should not go through their application, to respect their privacy, and for a fair process. Ask others to evaluate them. Keeping the profile and the applicant’s potential in mind, evaluate their suitability Add comments - what stands out about this applicant? What makes you excited about having them in the program? Based on the number of places, make final choice about next round.

The Profile

These are characteristics that we seek in our participants. We acknowledge that we are all a work in process, and different participants will have strengths in different areas. The characteristics serve as a guiding light, and when doing evaluations we should keep in mind the candidates’ potential to embody these through the program and in their future, not just in their current state.

Criteria are at two levels:

Minimum requirements - participants need to embody these in order to be considered for the program. Non-negotiable to ensure safety, commitment and growth. These cover the basics of our three program levels (self, relations, systems), learning, psychological resilience and commitment.

Application parts

Our application process contains different parts to assess different aspects of our profile. However, we usually divide the application process into three parts.

Part 1: Written questions (delivered through Homerun) + Video case (delivered through SparkHire)

Part 2: In person interviews (use Calendly to book times)

If you follow these links you will see previous setups for application processes.
