**The intention** of the onboarding process is to maintain the autonomy and sustainability of the Future Leaders communities and to secure high quality in the delivery of the Future Leaders program.

**The desired outcomes** of the onboarding process are:

* continuous formation of new local teams in each community, managed by the local community
* the right people in the right position, to ensure high-quality in delivering the program
* setting realistic expectations, between volunteer and FL
* set the foundation for creating healthy volunteer teams
