Working on the Community Coordinator Team is an amazing opportunity to learn and grow in as a leader. You are responsible for all Future Leaders activities in your community. As each community is different and each team is different we provide you with a lot of autonomy, freedom and trust to achieve the goals you as a team set for yourself. The role is volunteer based but depending on what you would like to do with the role it is possible to create a Future Leaders local and sustainable business.
We are looking for you who are a young, proactive, self driven, systematic and a passionate problem solvers that understand the urgency of creating meeting places for committed global citizens that wants to make an impact. You thrive in complexity, you love people and gets excited to see them grow to their full potential. It's great If you have experience with facilitation, building teams or communities, starting companies or from leading projects from before but if not and you would like to get that experience through hard work we fully trust that you will figure it out. Role description: The Community Coordinator Team have the overall accountability, responsibility and autonomy for the coordination of Future Leaders in the respective community, and its day to day operations.
Practicalities
Time Frame: March 2019 -
Hours per week: Depends from community to community, but expect a few hours/week as a starting point.
Payment: Volunteer based, Experience, fun and a extraordinary story to tell about how we change the world.
Future Leaders scaling strategy is structured into 3 phases depending on the commitment and capacity of the Community Coordination Team.
Phase 1: It starts of with a community. As the Community Coordinator you have the overall responsibility of:
Recruit and lead the community team. Read our How to Build a sustainable Future Leaders Community here
Collaborate with other Community Coordinators in other cities on best practice cases.
Lead the development of strategy for your respective community. Events open for everyone, meetups, Future Talks, Open Space etc
Coordinate every aspect of operations in the community - the specific challenges and tasks will change in different life stages of the launch of Future Leaders. The Community Coordinator is responsible for planning the development of our local efforts, acting upon necessary tasks and leading the team.
Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
Phase 2: Next phase of the Community is the Program:
Recruit, secure and lead the Program team; Head of Academia, Hosts, Pacesetters and administrative roles.
Collaborate with the international program team to strategize how best to roll out the Future Leaders program.
Secure a professional and secure application process.
Run the local application process for their community.
Secure venue(s) and gathering dates, partners and other necessities for all gatherings.
Recruit the very best talent in this new market.
Secure a good program execution.
Phase 3: If you and the team would like to take it even further and dedicate more the last phase is a company:
Start a local Future Leaders company and sell and run the Program Locally to corporate
Secure that Future Leaders delivers on the Future Leaders vision, and take choices accordingly.
Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity.
Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development.
Mentor direct reports, especially in regard to our values and vision.
Contribute to the overall global success of our organisation.
Conduct extensive research regarding the market and learn everything possible.
Run dialog and negotiate with potential partners and service providers needed for production of the Future Leaders program.
Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships.
Become a student of the culture, remaining aware of and moving forward with respect of customs and manners always.

Collaborate with leadership to strategize how best to roll out the Future Leaders program in Stockholm.
Secure that Future Leaders destinations delivers on the Future Leaders vision, and take choices accordingly to the quality assurance handbook.
Conduct extensive research regarding the market and learn everything possible.
Work to ensure that deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity.
Mentor direct reports, especially in regard to our values and vision.
Contribute to the overall global success of our company.

Develop production teams with local expertise.
Collaborate with other local heads of org on best practice cases.
